(Lead Guitar, Vocals)

The senior member of Beyond Logic (gee, is he that old?), Paul’s musical tastes cut a wide swath.  He taught himself to play guitar at the age of 11 by wearing out Beatles LP’s with his good friend, Joe Girardi.  His first public appearance was on Harford Road at the St. Ursula School talent show in 1968 with the group “The Four Galaxies.”  The problem was, Jerry Updegraff couldn’t be there so there were only 3 guys on stage.  “I’m Not Your Steppin’ Stone” and “Wipeout” were the cover tunes…priceless! (Hey, give the kid a break!!)

Paul has studied guitar with Larry Simpkins and Carl Filipiak, and has played with numerous groups since the mid 70’s.  Mixed Emotions, Fun and Games, Bandit, Sunset, The Motown Express and The Romanos are some of the groups Paul has known.  Paul will still play out solo acoustic on occasion, as well as sing and play at weddings or funerals. Paul has also performed in dinner theatre with area groups, and has appeared on TV commercials.

Paul is thrilled to be a part of Beyond Logic, as the mix of talent and personalities is truly heavenly.
